Day Trip to Orange – 28 Days in Avignon – Day 14

Connecting with a bit of family history, discovering a small, ancient town of Orange in France, which is where the Dutch royal family used to be from (sort of). Why not? It’s a 20 minute train ride from Avignon. But I discovered there’s a lot more to that once extremely important Roman town with its ruins and huge amphitheatre, along with some museums, beautiful vistas and of course, I wandered around yet another charming town.
