Hoping to find Carmichael's rock

Hi. Next week, my daughter, friend and her daughter are headed to KPP, Murray/Grace area, and we are hoping to find Carmichael’s rock. I am unable to view your entry about this on your web site. Is it possible for you to email this info to me or send a link that allows me to view it? This would be a day trip from our camp – giving us something to do. We are planning to camp on Murray (or Nellie if something opens up), and take day trips from there, returning each night. Your entry about Murray/Grace loop was very helpful! Thank you. Wondering if you have any other tips for newbies. Any and all information is appreciated!

As for tips, I’d take a look at the picture and see if you can hunt down the location. Many of us who have been there laugh because we all thought the spot was a bit higher and more open than the real location. So if you think you’re on the spot but don’t see the rock, try going down a bit.

Thx! Any thoughts on sharing coordinates privately if I promise not to share them?

Aside from the fact that I’m not sure I have them precisely, I think I’ll do you a favour and let you find it on your own. I know that might not be what you want to hear now, but I think you’ll be happy I didn’t share them with you when you find it. 😉
