Happy Spring Preston. Just wondering if you would have any info… We would like to canoe in Jordan Harbour… heard awhile back there was to be a canoe access point at the old Campbell marine site. Would you know if this exists or if there are any easy points of access to this water?
Hi Bill. Happy Spring to you as well. I hope you’re not heading out to the harbour today. 🙂 I’ve been meaning to paddle around down there but never seem to get around to doing it.
I’m not sure they’ve completed the public put-in yet (http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/2010/06/19/paddlers-paradise) but the best people to talk to would be the Penninsula Paddlers – http://www.peninsulapaddlers.com/ – the local paddling club in the area. Or even the Outdoors Oriented close by, or at least used to be close by. http://www.outdoorsoriented.com/site/home
