Nancy’s Sweet 16

Yesterday, Nancy turned 16. To commemorate this significant date, I dressed her up for a sweet sixteen. (Yes, I know.)

She’s been the best dog I could hope for. The best companion, the best canoe dog and the best adventure buddy.

Maybe getting her to wear a fancy dress might not have been the reward appropriate for being such a great friend, but we had a lot of fun. And there were treats. Lots. And a delicious cake. Her friend Tucker joined her, but he only had to wear a bow tie. (Yes, I know.)
