Remote Work In Italy, Day 49: Climbing Giotto’s Bell Tower

So I’m starting to think I’m a bit hard on myself for constantly deciding to send me up a whole bunch of steps. And it’s not ending anytime soon. I climbed the Giotto Bell Tower today, then got to check out the archeological basement of the Duomo today. That completes all of the areas open for touring in the cathedral. Fun fact: They closed the terrace on March 1st, so it was yet another coincidence in my favour that we were able to go up there last week. I found yet another great sandwich place, and had a lovely night walk along the river. Somehow I managed to get a full work day in as well. I’ve said it before, but I am one very lucky guy.
