Wandering Around Out There With A Canoe On My Head

What To Do On The Last Day In Venice – Remote Work In Italy, Day 89

So… What can I say? It’s been fun. Italy is wonderful and I couldn’t have had a better time. 90 days is a long time, but on the other hand, it’s not a long time at all. I didn’t know what I would do for my last day, so I wandered again. I found myself at the Grand Canal, near the Rialto bridge, and decided to get myself one last fancy meal and just watch the boats go by. It was perfect. Oh! I also finally tried the Venetian spritz – the red one. The waiter tried to talk me out of it, because it’s more bitter than the much more popular orange one. I told him thank you, but even if I don’t like it, I’m going to like that I tried it. He smiled and said it was bene. And it was good. Actually, I think I like it better than the Aperol spritz.

But with that, I’m done. I head to the airport very early tomorrow. By the time you read this, I’d have already slept (barely) and on my way back home. Can’t wait to see you, Nancy!

Thanks so much to everyone for watching my videos. Your likes and comments kept me going and made me feel like you were all here cheering me on. I’m very lucky.
